Saipem Lowers 2014 Net Profit Guidance Range
Italian oil services group Saipem cut its full-year guidance range for the year on Tuesday after posting a second-quarter net profit that beat market consensus.
Saipem, which is 43 percent owned by oil major Eni, said in a statement it expected its net profit for the year to be between 280-330 million euros from a previous range of 280-380 million euros.
Net profit in the second quarter was 75 million euros ($100.6 million), Saipem said. That was above a Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S consensus of 71 million euros.
The group said it expected its net debt at the end of the year to be between 4.2 billion and 4.5 billion euros.
